(We promise, she doesn’t consult a crystal ball!) Originally joining EBL as a consultant to establish vital systems and processes, Kim quickly realised she was destined for more than just advising—we’re talking full-fledged involvement as a proud Director and shareholder. Her passion for the business is as strong as her morning coffee, and she’s always ready to tackle the next challenge with a smile (and maybe a witty remark)! So, whether it’s optimising operations or steering the ship through choppy waters, Kim is here to ensure that EBL doesn’t just float but sails triumphantly towards success. Anchors aweigh!

From recruiting and managing EBL’s team of drivers and owner-operators to tackling customer enquiries and delivery schedules, there’s never a dull moment! Nique’s like the maestro of an orchestra, harmonising data with the finance team on pricing and performance metrics while ensuring our fleet gets all the love it deserves in terms of maintenance and licensing. And let’s not forget about the crucial water licensing, health and safety protocols, risk management, and the hunt for new business opportunities that keep our growth strategy alive—and our coffee cups full!

Before coming to EBL, Nique dazzled as an Event Manager, creating unforgettable experiences for a variety of local and international events. Ever heard of the Primary Industries NZ Summit, CIO Summit, or the CFO Summit? Well, Nique led the charge on those, along with legendary events like Women’s RWC2021 and three Outdoor International Sculpture exhibitions. Nique ensured that each event flowed like fine wine, skillfully negotiating venue supplier agreements and managing every nitty-gritty detail to keep health and safety standards in check—because no one enjoys a surprise when it comes to artwork falling over! 

Nique’s superpowers shine in leadership, people management, project management, and event logistics. With the ability to inspire, delegate, and communicate like a pro, Nique has transformed our team into one that works harder than a squirrel with a caffeine fix. 

Driven by deadlines and an impressive knack for task prioritization, Nique combines meticulous attention to detail with a passion for optimizing systems and processes, turning daily operations into a well-orchestrated symphony of productivity! With a strong grasp of business principles and decision-making skills sharper than a chef’s knife, Nique has played a crucial role in driving commercial success that keeps us thriving. With a background as a Transport Manager at Gilmour’s in Auckland, she has perfected the art of juggling schedules, resolving delivery dilemmas —while keeping her cool even when things get a little bumpy. Her keen eye for customer needs means she’s always forging relationships stronger than a hastily tied shoelace. 

When she’s not busy making sure your delivery arrives on time or dreaming up new transport zones, you can find her sharing a laugh about the day’s adventures. With Charlotte on your side, you can be sure that your transport needs are in fantastic hands.

With experience as a Tyre Fitter, Truck Driver, and General Labourer, he’s been around the block (and likely drove there himself). He holds impressive credentials for operating everything from diggers and bulldozers to bobcats, proving he’s not just all talk—he can lift things too! 

Over at City Siteworks, Ali flexed his muscles as a Truck Driver and Labourer, showcasing skills that include transporting heavy machinery and hand-laying asphalt. At  Auto Treads Onehunga, he fitted tyres faster than you can say “flat tire” and tackled everything from car tyres to heavy trucks like a pro. Plus, he’s great at wheel alignments—because who doesn’t want their wheels going in the right direction? 

When he’s not impressing everyone with his work ethic, you can find Ali indulging in his hobbies like martial arts (watch out, world!) and woodwork (if you need a chair, he might just whip one up for you). 

With a knack for good communication, persistence, and time management, Ali is always ready for the next challenge—preferably one that involves a snack break! So, if you’re looking for someone who’s polite, professional, and has a slight obsession with keeping records, Ali’s your guy. Just remember, if you see him, say hi—he might just charm your socks off!
